Angela Clark, ICMG
For over thirty years Angela has been successful in the professional pet industry. Angela started her path in the grooming business as a bather brusher. It was through dedication, passion, training, and obtaining a degree in Business, that Angela has been successful as the Owner/Operator of a profitable Grooming Salon and Retail store leading to her twelve year career with a National Pet Supply and Retail company. During the twelve years with the national company, Angela obtained valuable experience and knowledge in the retail grooming industry wherein she held the following positions: Salon Pet Stylist, Salon Manager, Grooming Training Center Manager, Regional Pet Services Manager and the National Mobile Service
Melanie Crowther, ICMG
Prior to grooming she worked there as a veterinary technician assistant after having graduated from college.She soon decided to pursue a career in grooming.Melanie has extensive equine knowledge having shown hunters and jumpers for 20 years. She also has an exotic animal background from working at the African Lion Safari in Cambridge, Ontario.
She now wants to give back to the grooming industry by becoming an IPG certifier.
Lisa Day, ICMG
Has made two careers out of doing what she loves i.e., grooming and training dogs. She is accomplished in both fields.
As a second generation groomer, she has over 30 years experience in the industry.
Originally from Southern California, she was afforded the opportunity to groom in both the southern region as well as the northern region of California. For over 5 years she owned a successful shop in Riverside, California. She assisted professional handlers in grooming, specializing in poodles. Personal reasons encouraged her to leave California and move to Canada in 2001 (she met her future husband in Ottawa).
Lisa was one of the two founding members of her current place of employment, “Dawn of a New Day”, when it was established in 2002 in Ottawa.She has been a member of International Professional Groomers for 4 years. She was accredited with her ICMG status within 9 months of her first certification.She was honored with the title of Certifier shortly after.
Linda Easton, ICMG
Linda is an International Certified Master Groomer and grooming President of the International Professional Groomers. As a competitive groomer, her wins include Best in Show and Best All-Around Groomer. Linda has been involved with dogs for over 50 years. She began training for the obedience ring then breeding and showing Basenji's. She worked as a professional handler, finishing over 60 champions in many breeds, from Pekingese and poodles to Newfoundlands. Her grooming career began in 1973, and since then, she and her husband built 7 grooming shops. Her current grooming salon and self wash is in Salem, Oregon. As an educator and certifier for IPG, Linda travels all over the world certifying, Judging grooming competitions and giving workshops. Linda and her family now live on a 50-acre ranch and she and her daughter breed and show horses. Linda is also very involved in 4-H
Janice Fehn, ICMG
has been in the grooming industry since 1965. She participated in some of the earliest grooming contests and seminars and is one of the first Certified Master Groomers in the state of Ohio. She owns and operates Sunshine Acres Boarding and Grooming which is also located in Ohio. Janice has bred, raised and finished over 40 American Cocker Spaniels in several arenas under that same name.
In her years in this industry, she has organized and produced grooming seminars, developed and implemented a large Rescue Rodeo competition, managed and coordinated a major grooming competition and has been a mentor and educator to countless grooming students and those who choose to pursue competitive grooming.
Janice’s grooming career has also included being a corporate manager and trainer for a large veterinarian and grooming practice with multiple locations. She also shares her knowledge by speaking at grooming and veterinarian trade shows.
Being a forward thinker and ever interested in giving back to the grooming industry, Janice has helped produce grooming videos, written articles and was a technical editor for the book, “Grooming for in Dummies.” She is a proud member of the Oster Professional Products Ambassador team and is excited about her most current venture as a sanctioned judge with both the USA and IJA grooming organizations.
Denise McDonald, ICMG
A second-generation groomer who started grooming at the age of nine years old. Denise has for may years assisted with a 4-H dog group. An active member of the Washington State Pet Industry Association. She was named "Groomer of the Year" in a 1977 Seattle Grooming contest and was first runner-up in 1978. In 1979 she promoted and directed a local WSPIA Grooming Contest. 1980 Denise earned Certified Poodle Groomer title in the first Professional Pet Groomers Certification test held in Des Moines, Iowa. 1982 Denise successfully promoted the first groomer’s convention and certification testing in the Pacific Northwest, at which time she earned certification in the Sporting Breeds. 1983 she earned title of certified Terrier Groomer and status of Certified Master Groomer in Atlanta Georgia. 1984 PPGC INC. (now International Professional Groomers Inc.) elected Denise as Regional Director of the Pacific Northwest Region. 1987 achieved status of certifier for PPGC. Inc./ IPG INC. 1989 achieved status of Companion Animal Hygienist with WWPSA. 1990 Elected on the board for International Professional Groomers. 1991 took over the duty of treasure and membership comity for IPG Inc. Served for one and a half years. In 1992 won a major placement in a national grooming contest with a cocker spaniel. In 1994 won a second place (with an English Cocker) and a third Place (with a Wheaten Terrier) in a competition in BC Canada. In 2004 also in BC Denise won Two second placements in the advanced classes for Standard Poodle and Hand stripped terriers. To date is still an active Certifier for International Professional Groomers Inc.
Vanessa Parsons, ICMG
Has been grooming since 1990, she owned her first salon at the age of 16 for several years, then moving on to a mobile grooming service for 12 years, after hanging up her car keys she decided to go back to the salon life. She currently owns Country Canines Grooming Salon. Gold Coast, Australia Vanessa Parsons, International Certified Master Groomer is a Certifier for International Professional Groomers Inc. (IPG) for the International Certified Master Groomer program, She become a ICMG in 2006 and followed on to become a Certifier. Vanessa is also the Australian co-coordinator for IPG. Vanessa is currently a member of Groom Team Australia, Vanessa has judged internationally with Alex Ang at the Pro-Team 2008 Dog Grooming Competition held in Singapore at West Coast Park, Spectacular Petacular Grooming Comp 2008, & Box Hill Tafe Open Day. Award winning at Pet Expo comp Australia and Pasadena Comp USA. Vanessa is a Certified Companion Animal Hygienist; she holds a Cert IV in training and assessment and was the director for the Pet Industry Association of Australia for over 2 years. Nicky Renwood – ICMG, CAH
Nicky Renwood is an International Certified Master Groomer for International Professional Groomers Inc (IPG), a grooming judge and a licensed dog show judge being a member of Dogs Victoria, NSW and SA, for over 30 years showing and handling all breeds, taking many to Best in Show level. Her skills and experience developed from being a second generation in the dog industry along with 15 years of owning her own grooming salon and in 2004 opened Australian Dog Centre an International Dog Grooming School.In October 2006 Nicky became a Certified Master Groomer then in 2008 she obtained her international certification. Her passion and dedication through her involvement with the dog world has led her to be committed to the high level of study necessary to gain these qualifications. Nicky is a team member of Groom Team Australia who competed in Germany in the 2009 World Team Championship against 16 other country’s of the world’s best groomers coming 3rd in the Sporting section.
Tessie Skudder, ICMG
Tessie started her grooming career 20 years ago. She trained in the UK under Linda Forsyth, a Crystal Cardinal Award nominee. She has groomed in countries like Taiwan, USA and Canada. She opened Le Coin de Puppy, a grooming salon and started a doggy daycare, the first of its kind in Brossard, Quebec.
She recently participated in Singapore's local Dog Grooming Association grooming certification/competition where she placed 1st in the A category. She is also KCUA (Kennel Club Union of Asia) certified and is a Master Groomer with
IPG Inc USA. Tessie is passionate about animals and started volunteering at the Singapore SPCA at a very young age. She has rendered her grooming services at the SPCA Monteregie Quebec and also at the Northwest Organization for Animal Help (N.O.A.H) in Washington State,USA. She takes her profession seriously and attends seminars and workshops overseas to keep herself updated with the latest industry trends.
Pennie Stone, ICMG, ISCC PDS, MPS, Meritus
Owner of Pooch Parlor Mobile Day Spa. She has been a Contest Steward for APF and is Contest Coordinator for US Pet Pro Classic.
Her special intest in stress reduction for both people and pets lead her to become a Reiki Master.
Pennie is also a ISCC Petcare DermaTech Specialist and Master Per Stylist.

Gold, Silver and Bronze medals, as well as Multiple Best in Shows and Best All Around Groomer awards. She is a member of Groom Team USA (www.groomteamusa.com) 07 and 08, earned the privilege of representing the US in theWorld Team Grooming Championship in Germany in 2009. Winning the bronze medal in the hand stripping class, Koko helped her teammates bring home the team Gold for the US.
Koko was nominated for the Cardinal Crystal Achievement Award for American Groomer of the Year in '08. Since retiring from the competition ring, Koko has started mentoring advanced grooming students from Japan and has traveled as a speaker and Judge.Koko has been interviewed by major publishers for the grooming industry in Japan
Penny Underhill, ICMG CAH
Penny has loved dogs all her life. In 1981 she attended The Academy of Dog Grooming. She then owned her own salon for 20 years before deciding to go mobile.
Penny is knowledgeable in AKC breed profiles and modification trims. She has served as a grooming judge both nationally and internationally. She competes professionally in the grooming arena and has multiple wins in Chicago, Atlanta and St. Louis. She has also shown dogs in obedience and conformation rings.
Penny is proud to occasionally offer quality bred miniature poodles under the PennyPoo prefix.

Amy owns Amy Grooming Academy in Singapore. She has attended many dog shows and grooming seminars, in the United States and Australia. She is also an IPG (International Professional Groomers, INC) Certified Master Groomer and certifier in Asia. She is committed to providing students maximum individualized instruction and developing their potential to the fullest. Many of Amy's students have continued to become IPG certified.
